This is still one of North Texas' most identifiable
landmarks, even though The Nocona Boot Company is gone. Another company
now resides in the building; however, tourists still stop along Highway 82 and
take snapshots of this unique structure. The rich history of this
building, Miss Enid Justin, and the hundreds of loyal employees that worked
there is well chronicled on the web.

Perhaps the most complete article of the history of the Justin family business is presented in the article from the University of North Texas Archives. This article gives a chronological history of the business as well as character sketches of the Justin Family.
