At the annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet, three students from Prairie Valley ISD and Nocona ISD won awards for creating outstanding web sites. (Visit the site here).  Nearly 50 students created web pages for local businesses.

Four Educators actually coordinated the student web contest.  Sandra Spencer and Dawn Carpenter worked with Middle School and High School Students at Nocona, while Elizabeth Johnson worked with Prairie Valley Students.  Bill Spencer, NISD Tech Director, created the NCN page and coordinated the overall effort. This team help generate 50 web pages for local merchants and organizations.

The Chamber of Commerce coordinated  businesses and organizations in pairing students with clients. The Chamber also judged student pages.

First Place went to Kyle Lemons of Prairie Valley for his Lion's Club Page.  Second Place went to Santana Pedro of Nocona for her design of Fenoglio's Station.  Conoco's One Stop, designed by Krista Weller of PVIS, captured third place.
